Each flower and plant is individually hand sculpted, one petal and leaf at a time, then assembled and precisely painted to capture the exacting detail of its real life counterpart. Working from photos, botanical illustrations and from actual flowers and plants, the realism of each one is captured in details such as petal veining, leaf curvature and edge ruffling. Branches, stems and trunks are accurately textured and flowers are detailed right down to the calyxes and sepals, and the thorns on the roses.
