Half Scale 1960’s Kitchen Kit

Second in the series, Kitchens of the Decades, this half scale kitchen replicates life in the 1960's!

Sized to fit perfectly with your 1950's kitchen, or to stand alone as the start of your Decades collection.

The 1960's were the decade of bright, cheery colors and daisies on everything, an era of built-in appliances and modern living. Take a step back in time to the modern 1960's kitchen, complete with
trend-setting double wall oven and matching butter yellow electric range top, with built-in range vent hood. The sleek lines of the Frigidaire refrigerator compliment the clean look of the other appliances in this
kitchen built for the modern 60's woman. Housed in a kitchen reflecting the architectural details of the time, your mini family can look out through their period-correct windows into their suburban backyard, as indicated by a photograph of your choice.

Half Scale 1960’s Kitchen Table and Chairs Kit

This half scale kit replicates an authentic 1952 kitchen, complete with reproductions of actual appliances, wallpaper, linoleum and Formica available during the 50’s.

Researched for accuracy from old magazine and catalog advertisements, the Tappan stove, Frigidaire refrigerator and sink with drain boards are ready to paint and finish. The half scale originals for each were sculpted specifically for this kit. The wallpaper is a reproduction of an actual swatch found in an old Houston home. Cabinets and counters are based on illustrations in vintage magazine ads and topped with an authentic reproduction of the popular 1950’s Formica pattern Boomerang. The cabinets include a side semi-circle display shelf to show off collectibles. The window into the backyard area of the room box is topped with a decorative cornice specific to the era.
