Each orchid is hand sculpted, one petal at a time, using botanical illustrations and photographs in order to exactly reproduce the flower in miniature. The petals are then assembled to form a complete flower which is set atop a stem growing from a tiny orchid bulb. The detailing on the flower is precisely hand painted in exact colors to accurately reproduce its full size counterpart in scale miniature. Each bulb is authentic down to its air roots and leaves and is planted in a hand made individually glazed one of a kind orchid pot.
